After coordinating with the count leader, meet at specific areas to observe and count birds until that area is covered, usually for most of the day. No cost. The survey is taken rain or shine and may be cancelled due to dangerous ice or snow conditions. Dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes, bring water, lunch and snacks as desired.
