Volunteer-Driven Impact

Impact

Shenandoah Audubon supports bird populations by erecting and monitoring bird boxes. These structures are built to meet specific needs of two locally nesting species: bluebirds and purple martins. As citizen scientists, we monitor these boxes, collecting data to bolster our growing knowledge of these birds and support their protection.
