Welcome to Shenandoah Audubon
Everyone like birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?
–Sir David Attenborough
About Us
Right here, in the northernmost reaches of the Shenandoah Valley, we’re defending Earth’s biological diversity. By conserving and restoring natural ecosystems – focusing on birds and their habitat – we benefit both wildlife and humanity. We’re an all-volunteer run chapter that serves Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren Counties. Join us as we strive to conserve and support the wild areas of this beautiful region!
