About Us

Right here, in the northernmost reaches of the Shenandoah Valley, we’re defending Earth’s biological diversity. By conserving and restoring natural ecosystems – focusing on birds and their habitat – we benefit both wildlife and humanity. We’re an all-volunteer run chapter that serves Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren Counties. Join us as we strive to conserve and support the wild areas of this beautiful region!

Outdoor Bird Counts

Join hands-on conservation efforts and become a citizen scientist! Both new & seasoned naturalists are welcome. All programs are led by experienced birders.
